Kiki was a playful kitten who loved exploring her cosy home. She spent her days chasing colourful toys, pouncing on playful shadows, and snuggling up with Mum and Dad. Her home was a safe and happy place, and Kiki felt very loved.

One sunny morning, Mum and Dad told Kiki that it was time for a new adventure—learning to use the potty.

“A potty? What’s that?” Kiki wondered with wide eyes.

Mum and Dad explained that Kiki was growing up, and using the potty was a big step toward being a big kitten.

“Wow, a big kitten! That sounds exciting!” Kiki said, trying to hide her nerves.

Mum and Dad noticed Kiki’s worries and decided to make potty training an exciting adventure. They introduced her to a bright and colourful potty decorated with fun animal stickers.

“Look at your new potty, Kiki!” Mum said with a warm smile. “It’s like a magical throne just for you! Learning new things can be a bit scary, but making mistakes is part of the fun. We’re here to help you every step of the way!”

Kiki touched the potty with her tiny paws and peeked inside. It was bright and colourful, with stickers of dancing giraffes and singing frogs. She giggled and thought, “Maybe this magical throne will give me superpowers!”

Mum suggested, “How about we pretend the potty is a magical throne where you can be a princess? It’ll make using the potty more fun!”

Kiki’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “I’m a princess on my magical throne!” she declared as she climbed onto the potty, imagining she was in a royal castle.

Each day, Kiki turned potty time into a new adventure.

One day, she imagined the potty as a pirate’s treasure chest filled with shiny jewels.

The next day, it was a superhero’s control panel for saving the world.

Each time, she felt more like a brave explorer on a grand quest.

“I’m getting better at this!” she said with a smile.

To make potty time even better, Kiki brought her favourite toys along. She placed her cuddly teddy bear beside her and set her toy truck on the floor.

“Teddy and Truck are here to keep me company,” she said.

Her toys made her feel happy and safe while she practised, turning potty time into a fun adventure.

However, not every day was easy.

One afternoon, Kiki sat on the potty and waited. She wiggled and squirmed but couldn’t seem to get it right. Her tiny paws trembled, and she felt a wave of frustration.

“Why can’t I get this right?” she wondered, feeling a little sad and discouraged.

Mum and Dad noticed her frustration and reminded her, “It’s okay to make mistakes, Kiki. Even the best adventurers face tough days. What’s important is that you’re not giving up.”

She tried again the next day, but the potty seemed to turn into a tricky puzzle. Kiki sat on it, but nothing happened. She sighed and thought, “Maybe I’ll never figure this out. I’m so tired of trying.”

Mum and Dad came over and said, “Remember, Kiki, it’s okay to make mistakes. We’re here to help you learn. You’re doing your best, and that’s what matters.”

Feeling determined, Kiki decided to give it another try. She brought her favourite toys—Teddy and Truck—and set them beside her for comfort.

“Teddy and Truck are here to cheer me on,” she said.

As she sat on the potty, imagining it as a magical throne once more, she felt a renewed sense of hope. With Mum and Dad cheering her on, Kiki tried again, focusing on her adventure and the encouragement from her toys.

Finally, one day, she felt a funny feeling in her tummy and ran to her potty with excitement. She sat down, and this time, she did it!

Her eyes widened with amazement, and her heart swelled with pride. “I did it! I can finally use the potty and be a big kitten!” she exclaimed, feeling a rush of joy and accomplishment.

Mum and Dad cheered, “Hooray, Kiki! You used the potty all by yourself! You’re a potty-training superstar!”

They gave her a special sticker with a golden star for her potty as a reward for her bravery. Kiki loved the praise and the sticker. She even gave her potty a happy dance, pretending it was her dance partner.

Every day, she practised a little more, feeling more confident and excited about her potty training adventures. Her teddy bear and toy truck cheered her on, making each practice session a little more fun.

Kiki learned that learning new things, like using the potty, takes time and practice.

“It’s okay to make mistakes,” she remembered Mum and Dad saying.
